Hallo Herr Seidel, hier das offizielle Statement von Microsoft: Office 365 ProPlus will not be supported on Windows Server 2019. We previously announced this policy on February 1, 2018 (link) and reaffirmed in the September 6, 2018 announcement (link). When Windows Server 2019 is released, Office 2019 (perpetual version) will be the only product supported on Windows Server 2019; neither Office 365 ProPlus nor the legacy Office perpetual versions will be supported. As you point out, ProPlus + Windows Server 16 (and prior versions) has been an effective solution for many customers over the years. However, Windows Server was not explicitly build with this use case in mind and although we have continued to invest in this solution, some RDS aspects proved more complex or difficult to manage than if we had built specifically for RDS. The recently announced Windows Virtual Desktop (link) has been built from the ground up around delivering remote desktop services. Going forward, WVD will provide the best experience for most of our remote desktop customers. We have extended support for ProPlus on Windows Server 2016 through October 2025 (announcement) specifically to give our customers plenty of time to evaluate and develop the right path forward. In the meantime, we are strongly encouraging all customers who have ProPlus in an RDS configuration to evaluate Windows Virtual Desktop. Additional details and resources are here (link). We are currently planning on Public Preview of WVD in December (sign up here to get an alert http://aka.ms/wvdpreview), with general availability in Spring 2019. We will make additional announcements leading up to the preview to provide further information. Some of our customers have requirements that make Office perpetual and Windows Server the best solutions. However, we’ve created Office 2019 and Windows Server 2019 specifically with those customers in mind. wobei anzumerken ist, dass der Windows Virtual Desktop ausschließlich in Azure angeboten wird. Und damit DATEVasp und PARTNERasp nicht mehr Nutzbarkeit wären.
