Importing files with commas in text string

Hi,

Firstly, please accept my apologies for writing in English.

I have a question that I'm struggling with our Datev expert on. Basically, we want to import data to Datev Koinos and we are using carat (^) separated text files. the problem is that some of our text fields have commas in them and this is breaking the file structure. For example the client name could be Mr Bloggs, Joe.

My question is: is there a way to isolate that comma so that it will be imported as part of the text string.

I would be very grateful of any guidance you can provide.

Hello Andrew,

In these cases we recommend to delete commas. We usually use the Excel utility "find and replace".

For any other problems in any case we would suggest to call our Customer support "DK Care".
